Abstract:
The present invention relates to a toilet-sink combination for reducing water consumption, odor and noise. The toilet-sink combination comprises a toilet body with a fresh water reservoir where a fixed amount of water is always replenished/preserved, a water tank for supplying water to the toilet body, and a drain structure constituted by a connection pipe connected to a drain hole in the fresh water reservoir of the toilet body; a housing with an outlet formed at one side of the bottom face thereof, the inside of the housing being in communication with the connection pipe; and a stopper connected to an operation lever of the water tank through a chain, the stopper pivoting in response to the manipulation of the operation lever to open/close a fluid communication channel of the front end side of the connection pipe, wherein the stopper is installed in a pivotable manner about a hinge shaft that penetrates through one side of the housing, a weight installed at one side of the hinge shaft, a first rotational gear is inserted into a connecting shaft of the operation lever and engaged with a second rotational gear having a relatively smaller diameter, one end of the chain fits into a connecting shaft inserted into the second rotational gear, and a blower is installed at one side of the drain structure to suck up odor coming out of the fresh water reservoir. The toilet-sink combination of the present invention is advantageous in that it has a very simple construction, reduces water consumption, noise and odor, restricts the generation of backflow, and is space-efficient especially for small bathrooms.
