Provided in an embodiment of the present invention is a toll collection processing method, comprising: receiving vehicle information read from an on-board unit of a target vehicle, and carrying out toll calculation processing for the target vehicle on the basis of the vehicle information; generating detailed information of a current toll according to the result of the toll calculation processing; completing fee calculation processing for the target vehicle according to the result of the toll calculation processing, and triggering release of the target vehicle after the calculation processing is successful; and sending the detailed information to the on-board unit so that the on-board unit presents the detailed information to the user. By using the embodiments of the present invention, detailed information for a payment may be conveniently provided to a user.
