Abstract:
A tomographic image processing apparatus and a tomographic image processing method are disclosed. The tomographic image processing apparatus, according to one disclosed embodiment, can generate a virtual monochromatic image by respectively applying a weight to first, second and third images, which correspond to three different energy sections. The tomographic image processing apparatus, according to one disclosed embodiment, can set a region of interest on a tomographic image, determine, among a plurality of virtual monochromatic images, a virtual monochromatic image at an energy level having the maximum CNR in the region of interest, and display the determined virtual monochromatic image.
