Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an excellent toner binder and an excellent toner, which have high gloss, maintain anti-offset properties, and also satisfy all of the following: low-temperature fixability, pulverizability, image strength, and heat resistance preservability. This toner binder contains a non-linear polyester modified resin (A), and is characterized in that the non-linear polyester modified resin (A) is a modified resin in which polyesters are crosslinked by carbon-carbon bonds, and has a loss tangent tanδ of 2-20 over the entire temperature range of 110-130°C.
