Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to eliminate the influence by the fluctuations among products of photoelectric elements to thereby improve the concentration detection accuracy. Provided is a process for manufacturing a toner concentration sensor (11), which comprises: installing, onto a sensor case (12), a light-emitting diode (21) which emits irradiation light (L1), a first phototransistor (22) and a second phototransistor (23) which respectively receive reflected light (L2) and reflected light (L3) which are emitted from the light-emitting diode (21) and are reflected on a reference reflection plate (42), and amplification circuits (24, 25) which respectively amplify detected voltages of the phototransistors (22, 23); subsequently carrying out a light modulation step of emitting the irradiation light (L1) that has been emitted from the light-emitting diode (21) to an illuminometer (41) and modulating the light in such a manner that the light quantity becomes a predetermined light quantity; and then carrying out an adjustment step of receiving the reflected light (L2) and the reflected light (L3) that have been reflected by the reference reflection plate (42) by the phototransistors (22, 23), respectively, and adjusting the amplification rates of the amplification circuits (24, 25) in such a manner that the detected voltages become predetermined voltages.
