Abstract:
The present invention provides: a toner for electrophotography, which is characterized in that the toner contains a binder resin, a poly(3-hydroxybutylate-co-3-hydroxyhexanoate) (hereinafter referred to as PHBH) and a coloring agent and that the ratio of the PHBH in the total of the binder resin and the PHBH is 5-50% by mass; a toner for electrophotography, which is characterized in that the toner contains a binder resin and a coloring agent, that the binder resin contains a polyester resin that is obtained using a diol component that contains 1,3-propane diol (A) that is a non-petroleum-based monomer and isosorbide (B) that is a non-petroleum-based monomer, and that the 1,3-propane diol (A) is contained in the polyester resin in an amount of 5-20% by mass and the isosorbide (B) is contained in the polyester resin in an amount of 1-20% by mass; and a toner for electrophotography, which is characterized in that the toner contains a binder resin, a biodegradable resin and a coloring agent, that the binder resin contains a polyester resin that is obtained using a diol component that contains 1,3-propane diol (A) that is a non-petroleum-based monomer and isosorbide (B) that is a non-petroleum-based monomer, and that the total of the 1,3-propane diol (A), the isosorbide (B) and the biodegradable resin is 5-50% by mass.
