Abstract:
This printing toner contains at least one type of sublimation disperse dye, and a binder resin. In a fluidity test in which a pressure of 4.90 MPa is applied to the toner using a plunger and the toner is caused to flow downward out of a hole having a diameter of 1 mm and a length of 1 mm while the temperature is increased 5°C/min, the temperature T1/2 at which half of the toner flowed out was 150-175°C. The loss tangent tanδ of the toner at 130°C was 0.35 or less. The binder resin is a reaction product of a first polymer and a second polymer, the first polymer having a carboxyl group, the second polymer having a functional group that reacts and crosslinks with the carboxyl group, and the first polymer being a polyester resin.
