Title:
TONER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/181131
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides toner achieving an excellent balance between releasability of printing paper from a fixing member and suppression of multilayer peeling. This toner contains a binding resin and a release agent, and is characterized in that the content of the release agent is 3-20 pts. mass relative to 100 pts. mass of the binding resin, the peak intensity ratio (Iw/IB) of an absorbance Iw derived from the release agent to an absorbance IB derived from the binding resin is 2.0-8.5, the peak intensity ratio being found as an index defining the amount of the release agent present in a region extending to a depth of 0.4 μm from a printing surface of the toner by total reflection absorption infrared spectroscopy, and the adhesive power of the toner is 5-32 gf, the adhesive power being found by a tacking test that is conducted using a tacking tester provided with a fluorine-based resin probe with a diameter of 10 mm under a specific test condition.
