Abstract:
A tongue stopper capable of being installed on webbing with high installation
strength without a reduction in the strength of the webbing and with constriction
of the webbing reliably suppressed. The tongue stopper (11) is constructed
from a male disk body (21) having a pin (32) and a female disk body (22) having a fitting
hole (42) in which the pin (32) can fit. The pin (32) penetrating the webbing (3)
is fitted into the fitting hole (42) to cause the male disk body (21) and the female
disk body (22) to be butted against each other with the webbing in between them,
and as a result, both the disk bodies are fitted to the webbing (3). First and second
engagement projections (33, 43) are formed on first and second installation
surfaces (31a, 41a) of disk main bodies (31, 41) of the male disk body (21) and the
female disk body (22), and the first and second installation surfaces (31a, 41a)
face the webbing (3). The first and second engagement projections (33, 43) have
a height (H) smaller than the thickness (T) of the webbing (3) and are arranged
so as not to interfere with each other.
