Abstract:
The tongue (7) is provided with a plate (20) having a long section (21) insertable into a buckle (8) and a wide section (22) wider than the long section (21) and formed on the side opposite from the leading end (24) of the long section (21), wherein at least a portion of the wide section (22) is coated. The wide section (22) has: a base section (23) joined to the long section (21); a beam section (25) extending along the longitudinal direction of the wide section (22); a connection section (39) joining the base section (23) with the beam section (25); and an insertion hole (71) formed by the base section (23), the beam section (25), and the connection section (39), and through which a seat belt is inserted. In the beam section (25), on edge parts (35, 36) forming the insertion hole (71), deburring is performed on the corners facing the shoulder anchor (6) side of a seat belt (4) inserted through the insertion hole (71).
