Title:
TONNER BINDER AND TONNER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2000/004423
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A tonner binder comprising a polycondensate resin (A) such as polyester and a non-polycondensate resin (B) such as styrene resin having a dielectric loss tangent (tan $g(d)) smaller than that of he polycondensate resin (A) is characterized in that the dielectric loss tangent (tan $g(d)$g(a)) of the tonner binder $g(a) is 8x10?-3¿ or less at a measurement frequency of 100 kHz. By blending a colorant ($g(b)) made of a magnetic powder to the tonner binder ($g(a)), a tonner for electrophotography excellent in low-temperature fixability and resistance to hot offset, chargeable with an adequate amount, and having an environment stability can be provided.
