Abstract:
This tool checking device for a robot arm comprises: a tool movement control unit for controlling the robot arm to move a tool attached to the robot arm to a specified location; an imaging control unit for controlling an imaging device to image the tool moved to the specified location; and a determination unit for determining, on the basis of a captured image captured by the imaging device, whether or not a tool condition about the tool type, or the tool state, that needs to be satisfied by the tool is satisfied.
