Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] One end of cleaning cloth is fixed to a wire member to cover it. When the wire member is inserted into a tube, which is to be cleaned, from one end of the tube, the cleaning cloth can come into surface contact with the inner peripheral surface of the tube along its shape. As a result, contaminants adhered to the inner peripheral surface of the tube can be removed by the cleaning cloth. In addition, even if the inner diameter of the tube varies in the middle, the cloth can cope with it. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A tool for cleaning the inside of a tube has a wire member (1) for insertion into the tube (2) to be cleaned and also has cleaning cloth (6). The cloth (6) has a width at least greater than the inner diameter of the tube (2) and is formed into a strip. The cloth (6) is longitudinally aligned in parallel with or is inclined relative to the axis of the wire member (1), and is fixed at one end (7) to the wire member (1) to cover it. The other end on the opposite side of this covering/fixation section (8) is not fixed to the wire member (1). The wire member (1) is inserted inside the tube (2) from one end (3) of the tube (2), and the wire member (1) is pulled from the other end (4) of the tube (2) to draw the cleaning cloth (6) into the tube (2). When the wire member (1) is pulled, the cleaning cloth (6) is drawn into the tube (2) with the outer periphery of the wire member (1) covered with the cloth (6). The outer peripheral surface (11) of the cleaning cloth (6) and the inner peripheral surface (5) of the tube (2) come into contact with each other to remove contaminants.
