Abstract:
The invention relates to a tool (1) for connecting cable conductors (34) to insulation-displacement contacts (33), comprising a tool housing (2) and a longitudinally displaceable ram (3) having a head (4). Said head (4) has a press-in plate (6) with two press-in webs (7, 8), a cutter (10) for the cable conductors (34) and a guide web (5). Said cutter (10) can be actuated by displacing the ram (3) longitudinally and the press-in webs (7, 8) are arranged between the cutter (10) and the guide web (5). The height (h1) between the press-in webs (7, 8) is greater than the sum of the heights (h2, h3) of the cutter (10) and the guide web (5).
