Abstract:

A tool holder (1) is provided with: a fastening member (4) for clamping and holding a tool (5); a holder body (2) with a receiving section (25) on the tip thereof for accepting the fastening member (4) along the axis (AX); and an operated member (N), which is provided on the outside of the holder body (2), on the inside of which the fastening member (4) is provided, and which is for attaching the fastening member (4) to the holder body (2). The tool holder is configured so that the fastening member (4) clamps the tool (5) by operation of the operated member (N). When the fastening member (4) clamps the tool (5), a vibration is applied at the site of contact (T) between the fastening member (4) and the holder body (2).
