Abstract:
A tool holder capable of having a plurality of tools attached thereto and readily adjusting these tools in a positional relationship suitable for machining work. The tool holder comprises a holder main body (201) mounted on a tool rest (160), a plurality of surfaces (202, 203) formed around the holder main body (201), holders (210, 220) attached to the surfaces (202, 203) and having tools attached thereto for machining the work, toothed portions (208, 209) formed in the surfaces (202, 203) and having a tooth-form train facing in a predetermined direction, meshing portions (211, 221) formed in the surface of the holder to be attached to the surfaces (202, 203) and adapted to mesh with the toothed portions to locate the holder in a predetermined position in the surfaces (202, 203), and attaching means (240, 250) for attaching the holder to the holder main body with the toothed portions and meshing portions meshing with each other.
