Abstract:
This tool inspection system (100) is provided with: a tool inspection stage (1) for holding a tool (T); a first camera (2) for capturing, from an end surface side of the tool (T), an image of the tool (T) held by the tool inspection stage (1); a second camera (3) for capturing, from a side surface side of the tool (T), an image of the tool (T) held by the tool inspection stage (1); an unmanned conveyance vehicle (70) that has a robot arm (72) for holding the tool (T) and conveys the tool (T) from a machine tool (60) to the tool inspection stage (1); and a tool evaluation unit (5) that evaluates at least one among the wear or chipping of the tool on the basis of the images, of the tool (T), captured by the first camera (2) and the second camera (3).
