Abstract:
The invention relates to a tool for working in metallic materials, comprising a tool body (11) having located in its front end at least one cutting insert (12), wherein the tool body is provided with one or several damping elements (18). Characteristic thereof is that the space between the damping element (18) and the tool body (11) is arranged such relative to one/each other that, during machining, a relative movement of the tool body (11) and the damping element (18) is allowed.
