Abstract:
In a method for mounting a tool on a tool-mounting section of a machine tool, (1) a tool pod, which can be freely attached and detached in the axial direction with respect to the hollow section of a hollow shaft that pivotally links inner link plates and outer link plates of an endless chain, is withdrawn from the hollow section, (2) a tool, which is detachably provided on the tool pod, is withdrawn from the tool pod, (3) and the mounting part of the withdrawn tool is mounted on the tool-mounting section.
