[Problem] To provide a tool for mounting an object to be mounted that can securely hold an object to be mounted when an attempt is being made to mount the object to a mounting counterpart and can prevent external force from an operator, or the like, from being transmitted to the object to be mounted after mounting and prevents the object to be mounted from falling in a case where the object to be mounted is removed from the mounting counterpart. [Solution] A tool for mounting an object to be mounted characterized in that a rod-like member having an end at which the object to be mounted is held and a cylindrical member into which the other end of the rod-like member is insertable in the axial direction are provided, the part of the other end of the rod-like member that is inserted into the cylindrical member is provided with a through hole that penetrates in the direction of intersection with the axis of the rod-like member, the end of the cylindrical member into which the rod-like member is inserted is provided with an insertion member that is inserted into the through hole, and the opening of the through hole is wider than the width of the insertion member.
