Abstract:
The invention relates to a tool for a blanking and drawing press, in particular for producing cups, comprising a cutting tool, which can be driven by a first ram and is designed such that a blank is cut during cutting from a supplied metal strip, a blank holder, which is designed to hold the cut blank down during holding, and a deep drawing tool, which can be driven by a second ram and is designed such that a cup shape is imparted to the held-down blank during deep drawing. A coupling device, which can be decoupled, is mounted between the first ram and the cutting tool and is designed such that the cutting tool is decoupled from the first ram or coupled to the first ram in a controlling manner.
