Abstract:
The invention relates to a mold tool or a core tool (1) for producing organic or inorganic molds (2) or cores (2') with a tool insert and at least one cavity for receiving a molding material mixture (9). A material (7) of the tool insert is at least partially electrically conductive and heats up when an electric current is conducted through. A hardening of the molding material mixture (9) in the cavity is caused by the heating. The material (7) of the tool insert comprises a plastic or a plastic mixture, in particular from the group of polyetherketones.
