Abstract:
A tool for re-cutting worn wiper blades (3) for windscreen wipers, the wiper blades (3) having an increasing cross section from their edge on the windscreen side and having at least one longitudinal groove (3a) within the blade on both sides, and these longitudinal grooves (3a) corresponding to at least one guiding ledge (2a) of a guiding slot (2) of the tool in such a way that the wiper blade (3) can be drawn in the longitudinal direction through the guiding slot (2) of the tool at a defined height, a knife (4) being arranged in the guiding slot (2) and slicing off the worn edge (6) of the wiper blade (3) as it is drawn through the tool. An important aspect here is that the tool (1) has at least two guiding slots (2) and that the distance between the guiding ledges (2a) thereof on the one hand and the assigned knife (4) on the other hand is variable.
