Abstract:
A tool has a base body (4) made from a low-alloy steel. The tool has one or more sintered blades (6). The blade (6) has a cutting edge (8) and a base (17). The blade (6) is welded to the base body (4) by the base (17). The cutting edge (8) consists of a hard metal. The hard metal has at least 82 vol.% tungsten carbide and a metallic binder made from a cobalt-nickel-based alloy. The base consists of a particle-reinforced metal composite material. The matrix of the metal composite material is a cobalt-nickel alloy. The particles embedded in the matrix are tungsten carbide. The matrix has a proportion of 40 vol.% to 75 vol.% of the metal composite material.
