Abstract:
The tooth cleaner-activator designed by S. I. Krjuchkov comprises a holder (1) with massaging elements (2) fixed at its ends and bent away from it in opposing directions at an angle of 70-120�; at the ends of the massaging elements and arranged at an angle of 120-150� thereto are attached cleaning elements (3) of trapezoidal cross section, inclined at opposing angles, the smaller base (6) of the trapezium being facing towards the axis of the handle. The massaging and cleaning elements are so designed as to taper evenly from opposing directions towards the end of the cleaning element, forming a trapezoidal cross section in each massaging element, the smaller base (4) facing the slope of the cleaning element. The bases (4, 5, 6, 7) of the trapezia in these cross sections are curved, for example convex. On the surface of each massaging element formed by the larger base (5) is formed an applicator (8) or riffles. In addition, the angle between the lateral faces (9, 10) of the trapezium in the cross section of the cleaning element is 5-30�.
