Abstract:
The present invention provides a tooth movement device that when mounted, allows good training of the tongue by MFT with less feeling of discomfort in the tongue, can distally move a molar tooth of the upper jaw as desired, and can prevent mesial torsion of the molar tooth. The tooth movement device 1 according to the present invention is provided with: path parts 6 each of which extends from a corresponding mesial end 4 toward a corresponding distal end 5 along a palatal row of teeth; sliding parts 7 which are slidably attached to the respective path parts 6, and are engaged with respective holding members 51 attached to respective molar teeth of the upper jaw; lock parts 8 which are fixed to the respective path parts 6 at positions closer to the respective mesial ends 4 than are the respective sliding parts 7; elastic parts 9 which are interposed between the respective lock parts 8 and the respective sliding parts 7 and which bias the respective sliding parts 7 toward the respective distal ends; and fixation parts 2, 3 which are fixed to an embedded member 53 embedded in the palate and are linked to the distal ends 5.
