Abstract:
The present invention relates to a tooth profile forming device capable of easily forming a tooth profile and reducing the cost required for the molding process of the tooth profile, and a tooth profile forming method using the device. To achieve this, the present invention provides a tooth profile forming device which comprises: a first block having a first fixing section for fixing an object to mold a tooth profile which is determined by the total of an involute curve and a parabolic curve; a tooth profile molding member having a molding blade for molding the tooth profile by cutting the outer surface of the object; and a second block having a second fixing section for fixing the tooth profile molding member and relatively moving with respect to the first block, wherein the appearance of the molding blade has substantially equal shape with the tooth profile of the object. Also provided is a tooth profile forming method using the device.
