Abstract:
The present invention relates to toothbrush bristles made of polyester resin, wherein a tapered part which is 1/4-1/2 the length of the bristles is formed and a rounded part is formed by cutting the end of the tapered part. A method for manufacturing the toothbrush bristles comprises the steps of: a) forming a tapered part by immersing an end of a cylindrical PBT yarn in chemicals; b) cutting an end of the tapered part at a certain length; and c) and rounding the cut surface of the tapered part. The present invention prevents gums from being damaged by brushing the teeth due to the rounded tapered ends and lengthens the life of the toothbrush bristles by minimizing bending or opening of the tapered end.
