A toothbrush that realizes not only high implanted bristle tensile strength but also high recyclability, and that is enhanced in sanitary and safety performances, enabling reduction of production cost. There is provided a toothbrush comprising resinous handle (21) and, fixed to head part (22) thereof, brush part (27) formed by gathering of a multiplicity of resin yarns, wherein an adhesive of moldable thermoplastic resin, exhibiting an adherence to the resin yarn forming the brush part (27) and, in a hardened state, becoming a rigid body exhibiting a mechanical strength required for at least the head part (22) of the handle (21), is molded into at least the head part (22) of the handle (21), and wherein by insert molding by the adhesive, the brush part (27) is bonded and fixed to the head part (22) of the handle (21). The adhesive is typically a dimer acid based thermoplastic polyamide resin.
