Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a toothbrush that can efficiently remove plaque, provides an excellent cleaned feeling, and can ensure an excellent resistance to bristle bending even when the resistance to bristle opening is increased. Provided is a toothbrush in which a plurality of bristle bundles (112) are implanted in a bristle implanting surface (118a) of a head part (118), wherein the tip portion of the bristle bundles (112) are provided with a tapered part (121), the diameter of which decreases approaching the tip, and the bristle bundles (112) have a tapered bristle (120) having a ratio B1/A1, of the maximum stress B1 to the maximum stress A1 calculated according to a predetermined stress calculation method, of 1.0-1.9.
