Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a toothbrush that can be made to exhibit multiple functions within a limited planting area and precisely exhibit each function with respect to a targeted area in the oral cavity, while ensuring sufficient bristle waist to allow each bristle bundle to perform its function and while imparting bristle movement that does feel uncomfortable. In a toothbrush comprising a head part, a brush part, and a grip part, the brush part consists of bristle bundles planted in each of a plurality of bristle holes formed in a bristle surface of the head part, at least one of the bristle holes is a partitioned bristle hole comprising a partition board extending from the hole bottom to the bristle surface, bristles for respectively different functions are planted in each of the spaces partitioned by the partition board of the partitioned bristle hole, and the bristles for different functions respectively planted in the spaces are gathered into a single bristle bundle in a bristle tip area and have independent bristle length profiles.
