Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a toothbrush that can both provide sufficient cleaning feeling to the entire teeth and reduce discomfort when brushing. This toothbrush equipped with bristle bundles planted by non-planar bristle implantation comprises: a bristle bundle A1 and a bristle bundle A2 that are arranged on both sides of a head part in the short axis direction with respect to a point P on the planting surface and are widened in the long axis direction as the bristle bundles A1, A2 extend away from the point P in the short axis direction; a bristle bundle B1 and a bristle bundle B2 that are arranged toward the leading end side and the rear end side, respectively, from the point P in the long axis direction, and that are widened in the short axis direction as the bristle bundles B1, B2 extend away from the point P in the long axis direction, and then narrowed; and bristle bundles C1 to C4 that are arranged respectively on the bristle bundle A1 side and the bristle bundle A2 side of the bristle bundle B1 and on the bristle bundle A1 side and the bristle bundle A2 side of the bristle bundle B2. The contours of the portions of the planting areas of the bristle bundle B1 and the bristle bundle B2 that are adjacent to the bristle bundle A1 and the bristle bundle A2 follow the contours of the planting areas of the bristle bundle A1 and the bristle bundle A2. The bristle bundle C1 and the bristle bundle C2 follow the narrowing portion of the bristle bundle B1. The bristle bundle C3 and the bristle bundle C4 follow the narrowing portion of the bristle bundle B2.
