Abstract:
A toothed belt (1) is provided with: an endless backing (5); a plurality of tooth parts (7) provided, with a prescribed space therebetween in a length direction of the backing (5), upon one surface of the backing (5); and a core body (3) which is configured from stretchable knitted fabric or stretchable non-woven fabric, and which is embedded in the backing (5). The tooth parts (7) and the backing (5) are both configured from rubber. The core body (3) is not exposed at tooth-base parts (9) positioned between the plurality of tooth parts (7). The difference, in a belt thickness direction, between a core-body (3) position nearest to the tooth parts (7) and a core-body (3) position nearest to a belt rear surface is kept at equal to or less than 0.5 mm.
