Abstract:
Core wires (12) of a toothed belt (B) are configured from twisted thread formed using a strip-shaped object in which filament bundles of high-strength glass fiber are integrated by means of a binder including a rubber component, at least one of a maleimide compound and a polyisocyanate compound, and a powdered inorganic filler. A surface of a reinforcing cloth (13) on the opposite side to a toothed belt main body (11) is coated with a surface-coating rubber layer (132) formed using a rubber composition containing a rubber component including hydrogenated nitrile rubber as a main constituent.
