Abstract:
This toppling prevention device is provided with an angle-regulating section that can be easily attached at a suitable angle of inclination and easily attached/detached as desired. In the toppling prevention device, the axis of a damper (10) is inclined between a ceiling (C) and the upper surface of furniture (F), a first base (30A) is coupled to a joint (15) on one end of the damper (10) and abuts the upper surface of the furniture (F), a second base (30B) is coupled to a joint (15) on the other end of the damper (10) and abuts the ceiling (C), and an angle-regulating section (70) regulates the angle of inclination of the damper (10). The first base (30A) has an insertion hole (49) on the side where the damper (10) inclines from the joint (15). The angle-regulating section (70) is provided with: a first insertion piece (72) that is inserted on the joint (15) side of the insertion hole (49), said first insertion piece (72) comprising a claw (74) that protrudes on the joint (15) side and is locked to the insertion hole (49); and a second insertion piece (77) that is at a predetermined distance from the first insertion piece (72) and is inserted in the insertion hole (49).
