Title:
TORCHON LACE MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/086117
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a Torchon lace machine such that when adjacent rotor metals protrude due to a timing error, when an operator's uniform becomes entangled, or when a cut thread becomes entangled in the spindle causing an impediment to spindle rotation, actions such as the following can be immediately performed: stopping the Torchon lace machine; preventing damage to the rotor metals; lessening damage to the parts that transmit rotation to the rotor metals; and preventing ruin of the pattern. This Torchon lace machine is provided with a transmission gear (6) that transmits the drive force from a motor to a horizontal shaft (4) that drives the rotor metals (3) that are rotatably engaged in the horizontal direction with vertical shafts (2) that are annularly disposed on a base (1) with a prescribed distances therebetween. The axial core part (6c) of the transmission gear (6) is divided into a horizontal shaft transmission side and a motor transmission side. At the division surface (8), with respect to the load from the horizontal shaft side the motor side moves upward in response to spring pressure. With respect to the load from the motor side, an integral cam is formed, and a sensor is provided for monitoring the upward movement of the transmission gear.
