Abstract:
Provided is a toroidal continuously variable transmission wherein a spline engagement portion of a rotary shaft and an outside disc can be lubricated efficiently by means of lubricating oil. A lubricating oil leakage prevention member 14, the overall shape of which is circular, and which has a smaller inner diameter than the tooth bottom diameter of male spline teeth forming a male spline part 30 provided on the outer circumferential surface of a rotary shaft 1a, is supported and secured at a portion of an outside disc 2d adjacent to the downstream side in the lubricating oil flow direction with respect to a female spline part 38 formed in a center hole 32.
