Abstract:
A toroidal continuously variable transmission comprises: a rotation shaft; a pair of discs; at least one power roller; and at least one bearing disposed between the rotation shaft and a casing. At least one of the pair of discs has a disc main portion having a recessed face facing the power roller, and a cylindrical portion protruding from the disc main portion toward an opposite side from the power roller along a line of the rotation shaft. The cylindrical portion is inserted between the bearing and the rotation shaft.
