Abstract:
Provided is a torque converter with a lock-up function in which a clutch-holding member as well as a hub plate member or an attachment member for a torsional vibration reduction device, etc., are shared and integrated, whereby the number of parts that are secured by rivet-fastening, etc., can be reduced, the number of structural components can also be reduced, or incorporation of additional functions can be facilitated and manufacturing and assembly can also be facilitated in keeping therewith. According to one aspect of the torque converter with a lock-up function, a holding member that has the additional function of holding a torsional vibration reduction part is provided to the clutch-holding part on the inner periphery or outer periphery of a multi-plate clutch.
