Abstract:
A torque detection device (10) comprises: a first magnetic circuit unit (21); a second magnetic circuit unit (22); a circuit substrate module (40); and a sensor housing (31). The first magnetic circuit unit is disposed on one side in the axial direction of a multi-pole magnet (20). The second magnetic circuit unit is disposed on the other side in the axial direction of the multi-pole magnet. A plurality of magnetic sensors (47) are arranged and mounted in an arrangement direction contained in a plane that intersects the axial direction, at one width-direction end of the circuit substrate module in a width direction. The width direction is contained in the plane that intersects the axial direction and intersects the arrangement direction of the plurality of magnetic sensors. The sensor housing is joined to one end of the circuit substrate module in the arrangement direction so as to support the circuit substrate module at the one end of the circuit substrate module in the arrangement direction.
