Abstract:
The present invention relates to a torque generating apparatus using a lever, comprising: a main body; a drive shaft rotatably installed in the main body and providing torque; a pair of driving gears each being installed to rotate together with the drive shaft and having a plurality of teeth formed along an outer circumferential surface thereof; levers each of which is arranged in a line so as to face the teeth with respect to each of the driving gears and each of which is installed in the body so as to be movable back and forth toward the teeth while both ends thereof being raised and lowered in opposite directions; handle bars each being connected to an upper portion of one end of each of the levers and allowing a user to grab the same and insert the other end of each of the levers under the teeth of the driving gear so as to rotate the driving gear by lifting the teeth with the lever by the lever principle; and a guide frame provided on the main body for guiding the handle bars to allow a movement for lifting the teeth. According to the present invention, not only is energy not necessarily required for rotation, but also torque can be generated manually. Accordingly, it is possible to use the torque generating apparatus in a place where energy is not supplied, thereby eliminating place constraints. Moreover, the torque generating apparatus can be used for various purposes requiring great torque by generating great torque by a manual operation alone.
