Abstract:
The torque limiter is provided with: a cylindrical inside rotor into which is inserted a first shaft section of a first shaft that comprises said first shaft section and a first pin section that extends in the radial direction of the first shaft section; a cylindrical outside rotor which is fitted outside of the inside rotor coaxially with the inside rotor to allow relative rotation with respect to the inside rotor; and a transmission unit which transmits rotational force between the inside rotor and the outside rotor. Multiple first grooves for fitting the first pin section are formed in the inside rotor at the end on a first side in the axial direction. A recess is formed in the outside rotor at the end on the aforementioned first side, or the other, second side, in the axial direction. The recess is formed in the outside rotor to recede in the axial direction from the edge on the aforementioned first side, or second side, towards the aforementioned second side, or first side.
