Abstract:
A torque limiter according to the present disclosure comprises: a first transmission member which is made of metal and to which torque from a drive source is transmitted; and a second transmission member which is made of metal and which is pressed against the first transmission member, wherein the first and second transmission members are slid relative to each other against friction force between the first and second transmission members when the torque from the drive source becomes too large, and a metal powder is provided between the first and second transmission members. Thus, it is possible to ensure a good friction coefficient in the initial state between the first and second transmission members which are provided in the torque limiter, and also to suppress uneven wear and reduce an increase in cost of the first and second transmission members.
