Abstract:
An arrangement for fixing friction members for a torque limiter which is simple in structure and inexpensive. The torque limiter comprises a flywheel (5), a clutch plate (20), a spline hub (22), a clutch disc assembly (6) and a transmission torque limiting section (7). The flywheel (5) has a friction connecting surface (14b). The clutch plate (20) has a plurality of extending axially apertures (20b), to which a friction member (26) is fixed. The spline hub (22) is engageable with a transmission axle (3). The clutch disc assembly (6) resiliently connects the clutch plate (20) with the spline hub (22) with respect to the circumferential direction. The transmission torque limiting section (7) sandwitches the friction member (26) between the flywheel (5) and the friction connecting surface (14b) so as to limit the torque transmitted from the flywheel to the transmission axle (3).
