Abstract:
Provided is a torque response control apparatus for an electric motor of a vehicle, wherein a torque response determining coefficient (K) is made to be low to make the motor torque response slow, when the vehicle speed (VSP) is slow, and the torque response determining coefficient (K) is made to be higher to make the motor torque response quicker, as the vehicle speed (VSP) gets faster. This makes delicate driving manipulation for a subtle driving force control, required at low vehicle speeds, easy to execute, and satisfies a sense of acceleration desired at high vehicle speeds, when the rise in torque becomes quicker. The torque response determining coefficient (K) is made to be low to make the motor torque response slow, upon light load when the accelerator opening (APO) is small, and the torque response determining coefficient (K) is made to be higher to make the motor torque response quicker, as the load gets heavier. This makes delicate driving manipulation for a subtle driving force control, required at light loads, easy to execute, and satisfies a sense of acceleration desired at heavy loads, when the rise in torque becomes quicker.
