Abstract:
To provide a torque restriction mechanism with which it is possible to reliably cut off and transmit torque without being affected by the state of rotation of a drive unit, and to reduce damage to a colliding object even when the configuration is simple. The torque restriction mechanism according to the present invention is provided with a first clutch part (2) and a second clutch part (3). The first clutch part (2) cuts off torque to a driven part if the anti-torque at a stationary section of the motor (1) is equal to or greater than a first value. The second clutch part (3) transmits torque on the basis of the state of rotation of a rotating section of the motor (1), and cuts off the torque to the driven part if the anti-torque is equal to or greater than a second value, which is greater than the first value.
