Abstract:
The present invention relates to a torque shear bolt and a bolt assembly and, more particularly, to a torque shear bolt having a pin tail portion that is configured to break off at a certain amount of torque in order to be able to indicate that the bolt was fastened using a stable amount of axial force, and to a bolt assembly. The torque shear bolt of the present invention comprises: a bolt body configured to pass through articles to be coupled, and having nuts fastened to both ends thereof by being screwed thereon in order to couple the articles; and a pin tail portion configured to integrally extend from one end of the bolt body in order to be grasped by a tool and rotated, and configured to separate from the bolt body when a prescribed torque is reached while being rotated by the tool.
