Abstract:

A torque transmission device of a compressor, wherein parts forming the torque transmission are prevented from falling after a torque limiter is operated, the possibility of the entry of foreign matter through an elongated hole between breakage parts before the torque limiter is operated is reduced and through clearances produced in the breakage parts after the torque limiter is operated, and also the generation of noise by the operation of the torque limiter is decreased. The torque transmission device comprises a pulley (2), a hub part (3), a first disk part (4), and a second disk part (5). The breakage parts (20) to be broken when a transmission torque applied to the pulley (2) exceeds a specified torque is formed in the first disk part (4). The breakage parts (20) are disposed on a drive shaft (12) closely to each other. The drive shaft side end of the second disk part (20) is positioned on the drive shaft (12) side of the breakage parts (20). In addition, the second disk part (5) comprises a recessed part (13) recessed from the peripheral edge portion of a through hole (9) in which the hub part (3) is inserted to a portion facing the breakage parts (20).
