Abstract:
The head (43) of a torque wrench (41, 61) comprises protrusions (46a, 46b) respectively provided with: sloped surfaces (46a1, 46b1) which protrude from the head body (44) to a height gradually increasing in the circumferential direction thereof and are arranged in such a manner that, in rotational operation in which an ultrasonic probe (11) is fastened to an ultrasonic vibrator (6), the sloped surfaces (46a1, 46b1) face the rotational direction; and stopper surfaces (46a2, 46b2) which are extended from the head body (44) in the radial direction thereof. The head (43) also comprises an elastic deformation section (48) which, when torque is applied to catch sections (32, 51) from latch sections (47a, 47b) with engaging sections (34) of the catch sections (32, 51) engaged with the protrusions (46a, 46b), allows the elastic deformation of either one and/the other of portions of the head body (44) which are located on both sides of a slit (45), said deformation occurring in the direction in which the width of the slit (45) increases and continuing until the torque applied to the catch sections (32, 51) reaches predetermined set torque.
