Abstract:
A torsional vibration reducing device is configured so that the interference between a cover (5) for the torsional vibration reducing device and rolling bodies (3) is prevented when the cover (5) is deformed by hydraulic pressure. A rotating body (1) is disposed within a torque converter (Tc). The rotating body (1) has rolling chambers (2) formed extending in the direction parallel to the rotation center axis. The rolling bodies (3) are arranged within the rolling chambers (2). The rolling bodies (3) perform a pendulum motion relative to the rotating body (1) as torque varies. The rolling bodies (3) and the rolling chambers (2) are covered with the cover (5) in a liquid-tight manner so as to be shielded from oil within the torque converter (Tc). The cover (5) is provided with deformation restricting sections (6) which restrict the deformation of the cover (5) in the direction in which the rolling bodies (3) are gripped.
